European Archaeology Days

Europejskie Dni Archeologii

European Archaeology Days

European Archaeology Days (#EDA) is an event that originated in 2010 by the French National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (Inrap) and is celebrated every year in June. The goal of this initiative is to promote archaeological heritage. In Poland, the European Archaeology Days have been organized since 2019, and our Museum participates every year in this joint celebration. During this time, we aim to spread knowledge about our local archaeological heritage and about archaeology itself as a scientific discipline. We organize workshops, open lectures for adults and children, temporary exhibitions, and online competitions to ensure that everyone can find an activity that offers a true adventure. Because if adventure had a name, it would undoubtedly be ARCHAEOLOGY.
