Art Collections

The MAH art collection is characterized by its diversity, encompassing paintings, graphics, sculptures, decorative arts, as well as cartography, militaria, furniture, and apothecary vessels. Particularly valuable and extensive is the collection of Stargard graphics, primarily depicting views of old Stargard and surrounding towns, as well as Pomeranian cartography.

The decorative arts collection is dominated by works of Stargard pewterers and goldsmiths from the 17th and 18th centuries. The painting, graphics, and drawing collection primarily features works by pre-war and post-war local artists, including painters such as Else Prielipp, Ryszard Manna, Marian Olejniczak, and Edward Maranda.

The militaria collection, consisting of over 300 objects, is mainly composed of 19th-century hunting weapons. Noteworthy is the collection related to Stargard and Pomeranian pharmacy, which forms part of the permanent exhibition dedicated to the historic "Under the Golden Star" pharmacy.
